The book analyzes the economic mess we’re in, how we got there and what it will take to overcome the disaster. The Dow and other world indicies’ histories are examined for booms and busts, and three scenarios for the future are portrayed, along with a description of the New Era. The last three chapters are devoted to workers, near retirees, and retirees, and their cost cutting, jobs, and investments. A best stock selection criteria is found, 122 stocks pass the test, each stock is separately analyzed, and four portfolios (growth, value, conservative, and New Era) are detailed with specific stocks. Stock investments, however, should not be made until the recovery and new bull market are signaled (a specific guideline is given).
